The Creative Studio team is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, creative candidate with excellent communication and people skills to join their team to lead influencer casting and talent management. This role will be responsible for building and managing our influencer casting network, thoroughly vetting talent, pitching influencers and other talent for projects, communicating with our talent and briefing them on creative projects, managing the projects the talent creates, and providing campaign reporting. The Influencer and Talent Manager will report to the Executive Creative Director as a member of our Creative Studio team and work closely with the Producers, Project Managers, Pre-Sale Marketers, and Editors on the branded side of Apartment Therapy, The Kitchn, Cubby, and Dorm Therapy.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee our pool of talent across our influencer network, readers, and editorial teams
- Continuously search for influencer talent who aligns with our brands, on every platform
- Produce casting pitches on tight deadlines internally and to clients for specific influencer and talent campaigns, as well as in the presale phase
- Manage all communication, assignments, and negotiations with our influencers and talent and serve as the primary point of contact throughout the production process, in tandem with the production team
- Manage campaign budgets and provide projected costs during the presale phase
- Collaborate with the Production and Editorial teams to define Scopes of Work for our talent and ensure they produce the creative assets we contract them for, to the quality level we expect, and in a timely fashion
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in influencer management and content creation
- A strong eye for content that suits different platforms
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented in writing, communication, and organization
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and to adjust strategy and execution in the face of new information
- Basic Google Slides design skills
Nice to Have
- Experience in talent management or influencer marketing
- Experience in production and/or content strategy
- Experience in influencer marketing experiential events
- Experience managing others
- Experience with Mavrck, Asana, Google Suite, Keynote
- Experience with home/lifestyle media
Salary Range: $85,000 - 95,000 annually
The above represents the expected salary range for this role. Ultimately, compensation is determined by level of experience, location, and other job-related factors.
