Content Writer

Immediate hiring for an in-house Marketing Content Writer. You will be working directly with the marketing team to create branded marketing content. We are looking for a well-rounded writer with experience across multiple marketing platforms. Specific areas/tasks we will need covered are:

• Ad copy writing for marketing campaigns, which includes
• Landing Pages
• Facebook, Instagram, and Google Ads
• Article research, conceptualization, and development for deployment to website, guest blogging, trade organization partners, advertorials, etc.
• Script for Video Ads and Long-form Video Content
• Email Marketing
• Press Releases

We are also looking to expand our focused marketing efforts to article writing to enhance SEO and inbound lead capture.

Responsibilities:

• Ad copy - based on the unique product, USPs, and target audiences, create ad copy, image ad captions/headlines/descriptions, and CTAs
• Landing page writing - create copy for landing pages as part of full-funnel campaigns
• Article writing for company website - write articles that are keyword and target-audience oriented, and can help enhance SEO and inbound lead capture
• Script for Video Ads - assist in video ad production by composing fully functional scripts that put ad copy into video format
• Email Newsletters - our current newsletter format is extremely simple and involves looking for relevant articles and writing a preview text before a clickthrough to the article. There are also video tutorials to link to and occasional software updates to write copy for.
• Press Releases - software, partnerships, and company updates for distribution to news outlets via press releases
• Other areas of Content Writing as the Marketing Team will require.

Technical Skills:

• Has a knack for writing crisp, snappy, compelling ad copy
• Proficient in Google office applications such as Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Drive (and/or MS Office counterparts).
• Strong research background
• Ability to create copy depending on niche knowledge base and brand tone
• Has the ability to write for different market personas/demographics
• Will be expected to keep up with US and global current events especially in the topics of remote work, travel, and digital transformation

Requirements

• Communication Arts, Multimedia Arts, and Mass Communication graduates or equivalent with training in print, radio, TV, and new media are invited to apply.

• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Must be highly organized and detail-oriented
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent command of English verbally and in writing
• Has a sound and current understanding of US culture as they are our primary market
• Strong professional email etiquette & practices
• Professionalism even in fast-paced work environments.

Other Qualifications

• Must have access to a reliable high-speed internet connection.
• Must have a computer with the latest model (preferably Core i3 or higher) and at least 8GB RAM.
• Must be available for scheduled and ad-hoc calls, meetings, and chats during regular weekday working hours.
• Must have a quiet workspace that is free from noise and distractions.
• Must have a noise-canceling headset that provides good audio quality for clear communication.
