Specialist IS Business Systems Analyst

What you will do

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role, you will be responsible for analyzing business requirements and translating them into efficient and effective information systems solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify system enhancements, perform data analysis, troubleshoot issues, and support system implementation and maintenance. Your expertise in business process analysis and technology will contribute to the successful delivery of IT solutions that drive operational efficiency and meet business objectives.

You will partner closely with business stakeholders, product teams, and engineering to analyze processes, identify gaps, and define scalable solutions. This includes leading requirements definition, supporting solution design, and ensuring successful delivery aligned to business goals.

Additionally, you will play a key role in ensuring quality and continuity by supporting testing, go-live readiness, and hypercare, while proactively identifying risks, resolving issues, and driving continuous improvement across systems and processes.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end business analysis for complex initiatives, from discovery through delivery.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define business needs and translate them into clear, actionable requirements.
  • Manage scope, priorities, dependencies, and timelines across multiple initiatives.
  • Facilitate workshops, backlog grooming, and Agile ceremonies to drive alignment and execution.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure solutions meet business objectives.
  • Analyze business processes and drive improvements through optimization and automation.
  • Develop and maintain key artifacts including user stories, process flows, and data mappings.
  • Support testing, including UAT, to ensure solutions meet functional and business requirements.
  • Identify risks, gaps, and data issues, and drive timely resolution.
  • Support integrations and ensure seamless data flow across systems.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
  • Support go-live and hypercare to ensure stability and successful adoption.
  • Contribute to AI-driven and agentic solution initiatives by defining business use cases and requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree

OR

Master’s degree and 2 years of Computer Science, IT or related field

OR

Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of Computer Science, IT or related field

OR

Associate’s degree and 8 years of Computer Science, IT or related field

OR

High school diploma / GED and 10 years of Computer Science, IT or related field

Preferred Qualifications:

Functional Skills:

Must-Have Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, and functional solution design.
  • 3+ years of experience working with CRM platforms such as Salesforce (SFMC preferred), with ability to translate business needs into system capabilities.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience working with Customer Data Platforms (CDP), including Salesforce Data Cloud, with strong understanding of unified customer data models, identity resolution, and segmentation.
  • 3+ years of experience analyzing data flows, integrations, and end-to-end data mapping across systems.
  • Strong understanding (3+ years) of Agile, Scrum, and Design Thinking principles.
  • 3+ years of experience creating documentation including user stories, process flows, data mappings, and acceptance criteria.
  • 3+ years of experience managing stakeholders and working across business and technical teams.

Good-to-Have Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience working within the Salesforce ecosystem (e.g., Sales Cloud, Health Cloud, Service Cloud) from a functional or BA perspective.
  • 1-2 years of experience working with AI or automation platforms such as Agentforce or similar tools, including defining use cases and business requirements.
  • 1-2 years of experience supporting or defining requirements for agentic or AI-driven workflows and intelligent automation solutions.
  • 2+ years of experience working with data and integration platforms such as Databricks and MuleSoft, including requirements, data mapping, and validation.
  • 1-2 years of experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) from a functional or data flow perspective.
  • Experience in healthcare, life sciences, or patient support programs preferred.

  • Ability to work effectively with global, cross-functional teams.

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
