Summary:

The Product Marketing Specialist will support Cencora's diverse portfolio of solutions, with a focus on the Accelerate Pharmacy Solutions portfolio. This role is responsible for helping develop and execute marketing strategies that effectively position and promote new and current offerings in the market. By collaborating with business partners and cross-functional teams, the Product Marketing Specialist aims to drive business growth through strategic messaging and marketing initiatives. Experience in conference or event planning is beneficial for enhancing brand presence and engagement at industry events.The Product Marketing Specialist will utilize strategic messaging frameworks, analyze market trends, and gather customer insights to develop and launch materials that align with both new and existing services/solutions within the Accelerate Pharmacy Solution portfolio. This role ensures that all marketing efforts and communications align with the business’s objectives and Cencora’s brand identity, maintaining consistency across all channels.The Product Marketing Specialist will work under the direct supervision of the Sr. Product Marketing Manager, Health Systems & Government Services, and collaborate closely with the Accelerate Pharmacy Solutions team.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Understand the specific enterprise marketing goals and collaborate with other cross-functional marketing teams to develop campaigns/programs and related goals (leads, impressions, changes in perception, etc.) to support Cencora's Accelerate Solutions portfolio

  • Analyze industry trends, competitive landscape, and market opportunities to inform product positioning and strategy

  • Partner with Sr. Product Marketing Manager to develop and execute marketing launch plans for new products, solutions and features, including personas, value proposition, needs-based segmentation, sales enablement assets (e.g., pitch deck, case studies), marketing mix, and competitive analysis

  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product development teams to ensure strategic alignment and execution of marketing initiatives

  • Partner closely with the Accelerate Pharmacy Solutions teams to align marketing programs with pipeline objectives

  • Work with the digital marketing team to develop and execute campaigns that promote solutions

  • Monitor campaign performance and adjust strategies based on data and insights

  • Develop high-quality content such as case studies, white papers, and thought leadership articles

  • Collaborate with the Content Marketing Manager to develop channel strategies for promoting content and thought leadership initiatives

  • Identify and pursue speaking and thought leadership opportunities to enhance the company’s visibility and influence in the industry

  • Facilitate communication between teams to align on product updates, features, and customer feedback

  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product performance, customer satisfaction, and market share

  • Must be willing to travel up to 10-15% of the time

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Candidates should have experience in product, service, or solution marketing, including executing strategic and tactical plans and creating content that effectively demonstrates the product or service's value

  • The Product Marketing Specialist will need training in fields such as marketing, public relations, communications, business administration, or similar vocations, generally obtained through the completion of a four-year bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

  • A minimum or 3-5 years of directly related and increasingly responsible marketing experience is required

  • Experience with campaign marketing and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams is highly desirable

  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of product marketing best practices

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills

  • Must be detail-oriented

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook) and superior PowerPoint skills

  • Ability to execute multiple initiatives simultaneously and on time

  • Customer service-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Recent work experience in the pharmaceutical, software, consulting services, or healthcare industry is a plus
