Summary:

The Marketing Manager is responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing digital marketing content that engages target audiences and supports business objectives within Community Retail and Long Term Care. Leading the strategy, activation and management of multiple campaigns, this person will be responsible for the role of customer growth and retention using digital marketing to drive awareness, consideration and acquisition. This role requires strategic thinking, creativity, ability to manage multiple projects, and a balance of planning with day-to-day execution, management and optimization of channels and campaigns. This position will collaborate with a cross functional marketing team to ideate, strategize, plan, and execute omni-channel campaigns, with a focus on digital engagement channels, in support of strategic business goals and objectives. Leveraging a strong understanding of multi-channel marketing this position will implement, track and optimize multiple marketing campaigns across channels (web, email, social, CRM) to drive growth for the business.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Determines how to leverage, apply and optimize an omni-channel marketing approach (i.e. determines the right channels, identifies the optimal touchpoints, aligns spend to produce the desired outcome)

  • Understands the specific enterprise marketing goals and develops campaigns/programs and related KPIs

  • Identifies target audiences and builds digital marketing plans that address their needs, interests, and pain points

  • Develops the strategy of all integrated marketing campaigns, including SEO/SEM, email, social media display advertising and websites to help achieve awareness, engagement and lead generation objectives

  • Creates and maintains a content calendar for multiple audiences that supports and highlights the business imperatives and initiatives leveraging metrics to optimize results

  • Collaborates with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevancy to develop compelling digital campaign content

  • Responsible for content on multiple customer websites, ensuring messaging, content, and branding are aligned to marketing strategy and SEO optimized

  • Lead the monthly data and analytics in partnership with digital team to measure campaign results, assess against goals/KPIs, identify trends and insights and product usage

  • In collaboration with digital marketing team, conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices to enhance content visibility and organic search rankings

  • In collaboration with digital marketing team, develop and execute social media strategies and other campaigns to promote content and engage with audiences on various platform while monitoring social media channels for feedback and interactions, responding to comments and messages as needed

  • This position requires strong project management experience related to the development and execution of marketing campaigns, and marcomm materials and a strong knowledge of marketing best practices

  • B2B-side marketing and communications experience required. As well as strong writing skills, particularly as it relates to simplifying complex information and updates

  • Knowledge of and experience in the specific fields of healthcare and drug distribution is preferred but not required

  • Strong graphic design skills are a plus

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Communications (preferred but not required); normally requires a minimum of five (5) years working experience leading marcomms (including content strategy development) preferably in an agency or consulting environment

  • Ability to clearly and confidently express ideas, recommendations, decisions and rationales to both internal and external teams; superior writing and oral-communication skills

  • Awareness of emerging marcomms and content strategy trends, tools, and technology

  • Deep understanding of ABC’s business, audience needs, and revenue drivers

  • Superior organizational skills and attention to detail; advanced project-management skills

  • Strong creativity and strategic thinking; inquisitive and driven to learn, understand and communicate; excellent interpersonal and professional skills

  • Deadline and results-driven; ability to manage and deliver on tight deadlines and willingness to put in discretionary effort to get job done

  • Elegant use of both qualitative and quantitative data to inform content priorities

  • Excellent skills in planning and communication; ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment in a highly-matrixed organization

  • Ability to lead teams (internal and external vendors); ability to handle deadlines, competing priorities, and urgent issues

  • Ability to provide a portfolio of previous articles, CE’s, marketing materials, communications

$86,500 - 123,860

*This Salary Range reflects a National Average for this job. The actual range may vary based on your locale. Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/NewYork/Hawaii/Vermont/Minnesota/Massachusetts/Illinois State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
