Job Description

We are seeking a part-time Management Consulting Intern to assist in elevating the operational efficiency of private healthcare facilities providing maternal healthcare services in Afghanistan. We have a network of private healthcare facilities we work with there, and they are interested in receiving management consulting services to drive operational improvements and provide better, more sustainable care.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with local counterparts to guide interviews and operational audits to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.

• Analyze workflows, patient care processes, and resource allocation.

• Develop and implement actionable improvement plans for patient experience and operations management.

• Engage with key stakeholders for change management.

• Prepare and present data-driven reports to internal stakeholders and executives.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an MBA or BBA program; part-time availability to accommodate studies.

• Prior healthcare or management consulting experience is a plus, not required.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Farsi, Dari. Pashto, or Urdu proficiency is a gigantic plus, but not expected.

• Concise writing and strong Excel/Powerpoint skills
