As the Senior Engineering Manager, you will lead by being a highly technical leader who delivers high business impact on projects of increasing dependencies and ambiguity. You will lead a team of individual contributors in the development of technology that saves lives and improves mental and physical health for millions of people.
About the Team: The Foundations Team at Aledade is responsible for all of the infrastructure and tools our engineering and product teams require to deliver exceptional Value Based Care software solutions. This team is foundational to the success of our other Engineering teams. Our tech stack includes Pulumi, AWS, Postgres Aurora and RDS, GitHub, Okta & Auth0, Python, and Vue3.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build a high performing team by hiring and nurturing engineering talent.
- Strong technical leadership - drive technical solutioning and building roadmaps.
- Set aggressive and clear goals and remove all roadblocks for the team to achieve them.
- Working seamlessly and collaboratively with stakeholders across Aledade to achieve business outcomes.
- Work closely with engineering leaders to drive engineering excellence in our processes and systems
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS/BTech (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field required
- 10+ years of production-level experience as an engineer and technical lead building highly scalable and reliable software.
- 5+ years of managerial experience building and leading technical engineering teams Domain-specific experience
- 5+ years on a team which manages Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure that hosts multiple public-facing software-as-a-service (SaaS) applications running on both Windows and Linux platforms Preferred Qualifications
- Contribute to and shape product strategy
- Participate in technical design
- Experience with AWS infrastructure and technologies as well as Kafka, Databricks, Airflow, and Snowflake
- DevOps Engineering: Proficiency in AWS configuration and infrastructure management, with hands-on experience in CloudFormation/Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Workflows), ensuring smooth deployment and operational workflow
- Familiarity with building infrastructure-as-code solutions
