Infrastructure Migration Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer (Migration) to support AWS and Azure takeouts and migrate to Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have significant experience in Lift-and-Shift migrations and a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and support Lift-and-Shift migrations from AWS and Azure to GCP.
• Assess existing infrastructure, design migration strategies, and execute migration plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless migration processes.
• Implement and manage infrastructure in the GCP environment.
• Monitor and optimize migrated systems for performance, reliability, and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to migration and infrastructure.
• Stay up-to-date with temerging technologies and best practices in cloud migrations

Requirements

• Proficiency in English: We require candidates to have a professional level of English proficiency, both written and spoken, to effectively communicate with international team members and clients.
• 5+ years of experience with Lift-and-Shift migrations from AWS and Azure to GCP.
• 5+ years of experience in migration tools and practices with strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and services.
• Experience with infrastructure automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with multiple cloud platforms.
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of best practices in cloud security and compliance.
