About Air
Air is revolutionizing creative team operations with our Creative Ops System, backed by over $70M in funding from prestigious investors including Tiger Global and Slack Ventures. We’re redefining how creative teams organize and access their work. Our desktop application, Air Flow, enables seamless synchronization for our customers. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver impactful solutions for real-world users while contributing to our technical roadmap and innovation efforts.
The Role
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer – Distributed Systems File Sync to join our team. In this role, you'll design and develop critical features that power Air Flow, our desktop application, enabling seamless synchronization for our customers. You'll work closely with our CTO and senior engineering team to execute on our technical roadmap. This role involves creative thinking to solve the many challenges of 2-way sync in a distributed system. You'll be expected to hit the ground running, working hands-on in our React/Electron and NodeJS codebases.
We work entirely in TypeScript / SQL. We’re built on AWS, so familiarity with their product suite is a major plus. Your work will focus primarily on our desktop app (Air Flow). You will build features, review code, write tests, maintain infrastructure, and help define best practices. 25% of Air’s users interact with our product every day, and you’ll be shipping features and improvements to them near-daily.
To help us filter genuine candidates, include the code AIR-ENG-2025 in the designated field of the application form.
