Agilent's Productivity Solutions Division represents one of the fastest growing businesses within the company. You will be part of our software engineering organization developing workstation, enterprise Client-Server software, as well as cloud and SaaS solutions. Your role will be to work closely with the team to help optimize the development workflow through the creation of an internal developer platform and supporting them with the CI/CD tools.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is a self-starter, innovative and passionate about delivering world-class software and likes to work in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be involved in developing a new generation of software products, incorporating state-of-the-art technology to provide new features and functionality to Agilent customers.

Qualifications

We are looking for motivated and driven team players with 3 to 6 years of experience working in full stack software development. This role, ideally with the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD processes and tools
  • Experience with Internal Developer Platforms is highly advantageous
  • Solid experience on development, continuous integration and delivery tools and infrastructure – Nx, Git, Jenkins, Groovy, PowerShell, Nexus Repository, VMWare vSphere, Bash.
  • Working experience with Nx or other monorepo tools is highly advantageous.
  • Experience with Linux, containerization technologies and distributed systems – Docker, Kubernetes, Oracle Linux.
  • Experience with Cloud Deployments – AWS, Azure
  • Ability to understand complex software development processes from start to finish.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Agile processes and Scrum.
  • Experience with Quality lifecycle processes; Unit tests, User Acceptance Tests and Test Automation.
  • Independent, positive, and proactive approach to problem-solving within a team and across teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in multi-disciplined geographically dispersed teams.

It will be advantageous if you can contribute as part of the development team:

  • Experience with designing, developing software solutions using Microsoft Visual Studio tools in C#, .NET Framework and .NET Core.
  • Experience in development of web applications and web APIs in ASP .NET Core, Angular, Typescript, REST and OpenAPI (Swagger).
  • Experience with database technologies – SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Entity Framework Core.
  • Experience in developing microservices and use of relevant design patterns related to it.
  • Experience in developing software for Regulatory Compliant environments such as 21CFR Part 11.

·Willingness to travel internationally.

This role involves hybrid working conditions, working remotely on Mondays and Fridays, and collaborating on-site from Tuesdays to Thursdays.
