We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, people-oriented Account Manager for the Greater PA/DE territory! As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving both existing and new sales within your assigned accounts, territory, or industry segment. You’ll actively promote Agilent’s products and solutions, introduce new offerings to customers, and develop strategic lead generation plans. Your role will focus on building strong customer relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction, and maintaining long-term partnerships with key clients.
Responsibilities:
Achieve all sales targets around quota and sales forecasts
Responsible for developing customer relationships and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
Provide prompt response to all customer requests
Must proactively prospect for new customers and new opportunities
Work collaboratively across all Agilent channels: CSD (Consumables), CSO (Service Delivery), SSD (Service Sales), COPC (Customer Operations Center)
Work with Field Sales Channel on the development and implementation of key marketing programs
Must proactively drive the sales cycle and forecast sales accurately
Provide rigor around CRM updates, expense reporting, and other required business processes
Identify and develop approaches to sales assignments to achieve quota/ strategies
Lead projects requiring coordination with other functions, organizations
Solve complex customer challenges with tailored solutions
Qualifications
While this is a remote position, you must reside within the Greater PA/DE area, as this will be the assigned territory
Bachelor’s degree in natural science, computer science or closely related field
Minimum 4 years of relevant sales or technical experience
Willingness to travel 50% of the time within the Greater PA/DE region
Ability to work independently and manage a remote territory
Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills
Deep understanding of customer needs and a proactive approach to sales
