Job Overview Summary

This role sits on the Analytics and Reporting team supporting the systems and data required to support the business. The goal of the Business Analytics team is to provide the business with reporting, dashboarding, and support to help track, monitor, and drive the business forward. This role with work heavily with both the Business Analytics team and the Data Engineering team that supports it.

This position will support Advarra in meeting objectives, creating, and maintaining deliverables, understanding data, and ad hoc analysis. The position must be able to understand business, system, and technical issues, and facilitate problem solving and issue resolution. To be successful, the incumbent will need to exhibit keen attention to detail while remaining aware of broader objectives. Additionally, the role will need to exhibit excellent analytical acumen and documentation skills, an ability to prioritize multiple timelines and competing goals.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Understand and optimize data structure to drive consistent data capture and reporting
• Lead situations where new data modeling is required to support the business
• Follow best practice as defined by Data Engineering to support Business Analytics needs
• Drive collaboration with identification of required individuals necessary for identified resolutions
• Work with Business and Product Management team to ensure appropriate requirements captured and documented
• Support the architect of a solution to support analytics needs
• Understanding of on all development in process, even if being owned by data engineering, for appropriate tracking and project updates
• Participate in release management and deployment, where necessary
• Monitor data feeds and engage with data engineering to resolve issues

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, Information Science, or related area of experience
• 1-3 years of experience with a focus on SQL coding and system and data feed monitoring
• Advanced knowledge required in systems such as Snowflake, SQL, DBT & GitHub
• Advanced presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Python, Json, and other coding experience

Physical and Mental Requirements

• Sit or stand for extended periods of time at stationary workstation
• Regularly carry, raise, and lower objects of up to 10 Lbs.

• Verbal communication; listening and understanding, responding, and speaking

Pay Transparency Statement

The base salary range for this role is $​61,200 - $​104,100​. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience and may vary from the amounts listed above. This position may also be eligible for a variable bonus in addition to base salary as well as health coverage, paid holidays, and other benefits.
