Wisdom Liu

I am a doctor who graduated from Wuhan University（QS 194）this year with a Master’s degree in Clinical Medicine（GPA 3.49/4). My academic journey began at Dalian Medical University, where I earned my degree in Clinical Medicine with a GPA of 3.44. My passion for research is reflected in my co-authorship of several papers focusing on sleep disorders and head and neck cancer, showcasing my commitment to advancing medical knowledge.

I have worked as an intern doctor for the past three years at a prestigious hospital (the top 50 in China) , rotating through departments such as plastic surgery, radiology, ICU, and otolaryngology-head and neck surgery. My daily tasks include receiving patients, collecting medical histories, writing case reports, preoperative and postoperative management, assisting in surgeries, and conducting specialized examinations. My solid theoretical foundation and rich clinical experience have enabled me to maintain friendly communication with patients and efficiently extract useful information for disease analysis. Currently, I have successfully obtained the qualification certificate of a practicing physician.

Throughout my academic career, I have been actively involved in various research projects. One notable project I led involved investigating the impact of sleep deprivation on cognitive behavior through the gut-brain axis. I have also contributed to research on the GOT1/ALDH3A1 pathway in head and neck cancer, which is currently under review. My ability to communicate effectively with patients and manage trial execution has been critical in ensuring the success of these projects.

In addition to my research experience, I am dedicated to continuous learning and have received several accolades, including the Outstanding Academic Scholarship and recognition as an Outstanding Graduate Student at Wuhan University. I am eager to contribute my skills and knowledge to a dynamic team in the medical field.
