What I'm looking for

I'm looking to bring ELA, ELL, and speech and debate teaching to an international school where I can support multilingual learners, develop rigorous language-responsive curriculum, coach teachers, and contribute to student academic and social-emotional growth.

At The Gen Alpha School, I lead the English Department while designing English Language Arts lessons, targeted ELL interventions, and debate-based Socratic learning for multicultural student cohorts.

I train teachers in differentiated pedagogy, classroom accommodations, and language-responsive instruction. I also use ongoing assessment data to adjust interventions and communicate student progress with families and school leadership.

Previously, I delivered English instruction across middle school, Class X, undergraduate, and postgraduate settings, supporting first-generation English learners and students navigating academic English as a second or third language. As a Communication Skills Trainer at Teaching Fish Institute, I coached spoken English, argumentation, persuasion, oral presentation, and rhetorical effectiveness.

As a speaker of English, Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil, I bring lived multilingual experience, empathy, and cultural sensitivity to language acquisition. I’m completing a B.Ed. in English and pursuing TEFL/TESOL, SEL, AP English Language, and IB Language & Literature professional development.
