At Saifee Hospital Zanzibar, I manage country-level health data across 10 hospital branches and develop Power BI reporting for operational and executive stakeholders. I also support the ERP network and lead national claims data management.
I analysed $13.1M in national insurance claims across more than 690,000 patient visits, with breakdowns by branch, doctor, and service to improve data integrity. My analysis identified pending claims across 115,000 patients and helped clear a $1.85M claims backlog through a structured submission pipeline.
Through ICD-10 audits and root-cause analysis, I identified billing compliance gaps associated with $850K in revenue protection. I also found $42K in maternity ward revenue leakage through variance analysis and flagged it to senior management.
