At Giesecke+Devrient, I build and run an Ansible- and AWX-based Infrastructure as Code platform that standardizes deployments across EMEA data processing and card manufacturing sites. I maintain isolated AWX and Nexus instances across commercial, DMZ, and fully air-gapped PCI-DSS network zones, ensuring reliably provisioned environments even where connectivity is cut off.
I've spent 17+ years in systems administration and infrastructure, including IT operations on military bases in Afghanistan and Iraq. Over the last seven years, I've focused on DevOps, automation, and platform engineering, writing custom Ansible modules, plugins, and containerized execution environments while supporting VMware, Windows, SQL Server, and Linux infrastructure.
