What I'm looking for

I’m seeking scholarship support to deepen my skills in power systems and renewable energy, while working in teams that prioritize safe, reliable, and sustainable electricity access in Timor-Leste through practical, real-world projects.

I’m a final-year Electronic and Electrical Engineering student at National University of Timor Leste, with hands-on experience in residential electrical installation. I focus on wiring, grounding, and safety-focused checks to ensure systems work properly and protect people.

In my current Electrical Installation role for private residences and small businesses, I collaborate on wiring layouts design and install complete electrical systems, including lighting, switches, sockets, and distribution boards. I also participate in system testing to confirm circuit functionality and load distribution, while applying electrical safety practices and coordinating efficiently with team members.

I bring strong communication and leadership through award-winning English debate achievements and extensive MC and facilitator experience. I’ve served as MC and facilitator for programs, seminars, and student events, and I’ve helped organize discussions with stakeholders across government and community representatives.

I’m especially motivated to strengthen my technical skills in power systems and renewable energy through scholarship support, so I can apply what I learn to expand safe, reliable, and sustainable electricity access in Timor-Leste. Internationally, I led and coordinated team presentations through the JENESYS 2025 exchange and contributed to climate change and disaster prevention discussions.
