What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can advise on energy transition policy and legal frameworks—especially with public authorities—while coordinating stakeholders and turning complex regulations into actionable roadmaps that support clean energy and societal impact.

I’m an LL.M. trained advisor focused on energy transition, energy law & policy, and climate-relevant governance. I bring a positive, motivated mindset and an analytical approach to help organizations shape decisions that hold up in practice.

As an Energy Transition Advisor (Haskoning Amersfoort), I advise provinces and municipalities on energy transition projects—including Clean Energy Hubs, heat programs, and electricity infrastructure—linking policy, legal frameworks, and spatial integration. I develop strategic roadmaps, action plans, and prioritization frameworks, while analyzing relevant legislation and regulatory requirements (e.g., environmental law, energy law, permitting and MER procedures). I also draft policy documents, legal factsheets, knowledge notes, and advisory memoranda, and guide complex stakeholder processes for substations with strong intergovernmental coordination.

Previously, as a Legal Advisor, Environmental Law (Bender Utrecht), I supported zoning plans, environmental visions, and enforcement procedures. I reviewed permit applications, organized pre-consultations, monitored processes across departments, and drafted decisions while updating regulations and policy plans.

Earlier experiences—at the Dutch Tax Office, in mining damage work, and as a paralegal/intern—built my foundation in research, compliance, and case handling. I’m particularly driven by work that balances legal rigor with clear communication to affected parties and decision-makers.
