What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can grow through hands-on work in data engineering and backend development, applying AI and computer vision to real-world telecom or analytics problems with supportive mentorship.

I’m a Computer Science & Engineering student at the German University in Cairo (GUC) with strong interest in software engineering, AI, data engineering, and telecom analytics. Through industry and personal projects, I’ve been building hands-on experience in real-time data processing, backend development, and network/telecom analytics.

At Orange (QoS & CEM Systems), I shadowed the optimization of large-scale telecom data pipelines using Apache Spark, Hadoop, and Apache Airflow, and reviewed Python scripts for PySpark transformations and DAG workflow automation. I also worked on database querying and QoS metrics using SQL, and leveraged Java to evaluate data ingestion and OOP processing logic. In my Football Analysis Platform project, I built an AI-powered system with Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Docker, Next.js, and TypeScript, including computer vision pipelines using OpenCV, YOLOv8, ByteTrack, and EasyOCR for player tracking and event detection.
