Yasir Farooqui

I’m a final-year MSc student in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning with a strong mathematics background and hands-on research experience. I focus on building scalable, practical AI systems that translate research into real-world impact.

My work spans LLMs, RAG, Agentic AI, NLP, and MLOps; I’ve designed prompts, curated datasets, and developed evaluation rubrics while applying advanced statistical and ML techniques like PCA, causal inference, MCMC, and regression models. I’ve built multimodal and production-ready projects using PyTorch, FastAPI, FAISS, and containerized deployments.

I bring a blend of research rigor and engineering pragmatism, demonstrated through projects such as an AI scam-detection chatbot, a multimodal doctor assistant, fine-tuning vision-language models for LaTeX generation, and an insurance document validator. I’m eager to contribute to teams building reliable, responsible AI systems.
