Yasin Tahir

I’m a Chemical Engineering graduate (Process Engineering stream) from Hawassa University, with hands-on exposure to process simulation and engineering software. Through my coursework and tools, I’ve built a practical foundation in Aspen Plus, MATLAB, and AutoCAD, alongside a strong process engineering mindset.

I’m also certified in Chemical Process Safety Management (Alison) and completed an engineering-focused employability accelerator program (Dereja Academy). I bring an engineering approach to risk-aware thinking and workplace readiness, supported by my training and applied skills.

Beyond academics, I’ve gained coordination and field-research experience as a Data Surveyor / Researcher with Premise (NGO), where I ensured accuracy, timely reporting, and reliable data collection. I’ve also worked as a customer service coordinator at Fulan Café and completed multilingual freelance translation work (Amharic/English/Arabic), strengthening my communication, problem-solving, and ability to manage tasks independently.
