I am a dedicated, results-driven Assistant Lecturer with over four years of experience in Chemical Engineering. I bring hands-on expertise in process design, safety assessment, and equipment operation, while helping students understand complex concepts in fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and reaction engineering.

In my current role as an Environmental Engineer Postgraduate Student at Bahir Dar University, I designed and optimized chemical processes to improve energy efficiency and reduce operational costs. I apply thermodynamics and fluid dynamics to enhance heat transfer and streamline production workflows, and I develop process safety measures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and environmental standards.

I use simulation and analysis tools to support research and real-world decision-making, including Aspen HYSYS, MATLAB, OpenLCA, and ArcGIS. I model and optimize chemical reactions and separation processes for large-scale production, and I conduct research on process optimization and environmental risk assessment.

Previously, as an Assistance Lecturer at Woldia University and a Laboratory Assistant, I supported learners and projects through tailored guidance, coaching, and mentorship. I also prepared samples, maintained and calibrated equipment, followed safety protocols, and contributed to data analysis for ongoing studies—building my ability to manage projects and collaborate effectively in interdisciplinary environments.
