Yasemin Nur Şahin

I am a newly graduated veterinarian with hands-on experience in patient monitoring, diagnostic procedures, and the use of medical equipment in clinical settings. Through my training, I developed confidence supporting clinical workflows while staying attentive to patient safety and effective communication.

During a Rotational Veterinary Hospital Internship (February 2025 – June 2025), I actively participated across surgery, anesthesia, internal medicine, emergency, intensive care, diagnostic imaging, and the exotic animal department. I supported clinical practice with examinations and diagnostic procedures while gaining practical exposure to high-acuity decision-making.

Before that, I worked as a Veterinary Assistant at Tutu Veterinary Clinic (March 2023 – June 2024), where I assisted with clinical examinations and diagnostic procedures. I also completed a Food Safety Internship (July 2022 – August 2022), supporting inspection and compliance processes and contributing to reporting and documentation.

My farm animal internship (June 2021 – August 2021) strengthened my day-to-day animal care routine, including feeding routines and maintaining basic health records. I bring a documentation-focused mindset, medical data analysis interest, and a steady drive to learn and improve in every setting.
