What I'm looking for

I’m looking to build AI-powered healthcare or research products end-to-end—turning datasets and experiments into reliable systems with strong architecture, reproducibility, and practical DevOps habits.

I’ve been building production-grade software through research and applied AI work, starting with my Research Software Engineering Intern role at Qatar Computing Research Institute (QCRI). There, I led the implementation of ProteinLab—a full-stack research platform that brings together 13+ protein datasets, 12 binding-site prediction methods, interactive 3D visualization, and experiment management in one reproducible workspace.

Before that, I supported AI-powered ICU systems as an AI Research Assistant & Software Engineer (remote, Canada), working with MIMIC-IV data to develop and evaluate models for alert prediction, length-of-stay prediction, and patient risk assessment. I also helped build a hybrid clinical recommendation system that combines LLM-based decision support (OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, DeepSeek APIs) with case-based recommendations.

I’ve complemented this with backend and dashboard work during my Software Engineering Intern experience at RoboLabs and freelance frontend development on Upwork, where I build responsive web interfaces with UI/UX-driven implementation. I enjoy turning research requirements into repeatable experiments, traceable results, and maintainable systems.
