I build validated statistical models and data applications for behavioral health research.
What I'm looking for
I'm building validated statistical methods and data applications for adolescent digital well-being research through an Arizona State University collaboration.
I designed and built ScreenMe, a Streamlit application with validated pipelines and Plotly views for within-person, between-person, and app-event timeline analyses. I also integrated the OpenAI Responses API using aggregate-only context, storage-disabled requests, deterministic fallbacks, user-safe errors, and automated tests.
At Mindstrong Health, I led development of statistical measures from human-smartphone interactions to support continuous monitoring of depression and anxiety risk. I partnered with product, clinical, research, and engineering teams to align validation strategy, technical feasibility, and product goals.
My work draws on doctoral training in quantitative psychology and foundations in statistics, computer science, and control-system engineering. I translate complex longitudinal, time-series, physiological, and behavioral data into reliable decisions while clearly communicating assumptions and limitations across disciplines.
Experience
Work history, roles, and key accomplishments
Lead statistical methodology and application development for adolescent digital well-being research, including study design, data collection, validation, analysis, and reporting. Developed methods for multimodal irregular time-series data and built the ScreenMe Streamlit application with OpenAI API integration.
Designed and implemented multimodal studies integrating self-report, physiological, and facial-expression signals to measure adolescent mental health. Developed rigorous analysis plans for complex behavioral data and communicated statistical choices across disciplines.
