What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a mining role where I can strengthen safety and operational efficiency through precise surveying, survey control network management, and UAV/laser scanning. I want to collaborate with engineering teams and support accurate development, stockpiles, and void monitoring.

I’m a dedicated mine surveyor focused on optimizing resource management and safety through detailed site surveys and advanced UAV technology. Since 03/2019, I’ve worked at Cadia Valley Operations (Newmont) performing end-of-month surveys using total stations, drone, and GPS for development headings and stockpiles volume reporting, while maintaining and extending survey control networks to keep mining operations accurate and efficient.

I also guide development operations using laser alignment, grade line establishment, and face markups, and I perform void surveys with systems including Elios-3, Cavity Monitoring System (CMS), Cavity Auto Laser Scanning (CALS), and the Trimble TX5 Scanner. Across my earlier roles at Nifty Mine Operations, Tritton Mines, and contract survey work across multiple Australian mine sites (plus supervisor experience), I’ve produced mine emergency plans, issued machine guidance files, and supported excavation out-of-tolerance identification and notification—always with a strong health and safety mindset.
