I’m a Commercial Accounting Analyst delivering regular financial analysis to senior finance managers and helping support data-driven decision-making at partnership level. I focus on clear, actionable commentary that turns month-to-month performance into decisions leaders can use with confidence.
In my current role, I manage monthly P&L analysis across 2 practice groups and 6 product lines in the UK, identifying variances and communicating implications to stakeholders. I also own key month-end processes, including posting accruals and using SAP to perform journal corrections, ensuring accurate financial reporting even under time pressure.
I’ve built practical efficiencies into my work—most notably an automated weekly reporting tool in Excel that generates and sends reports directly to Outlook, improving consistency and reducing manual effort. I’m also developing Power BI dashboards to visualise financial data and make reporting more accessible for non-finance audiences.
Before this, I worked as an Assistant Accountant at DS Smith, posting inter-company accruals at month end and reviewing general ledger balances to resolve discrepancies. I’m strengthening my foundation with a BSc in Accounting and Finance and ACCA progress (8 of 13 exams completed), and I bring strong stakeholder management, process improvement, and data-focused communication to every engagement.
