I joined this bank as the functional lead for the implementation of a system (known as the SAS Kamakura Risk Manager) (KRM) that generates predictive / forecast risk reports. In this role, I built data pipelines and ETL framework to flow data from bank-wide source systems to a KRM-friendly database. Aside, I also build predictive models to determine the bank's customer behaviour.

I was the functional lead for implementation of a system; which led to estimated savings of MYR2B. In my time with the bank, I fully automated production of various risk and finance reports with near-zero manual intervention using BI tools such as QlikView and Microsoft Power BI which ultimately led to shorter turnaround time (from 1-week to<3 days).

I was the pioneering team (functional team member) for the implementation of a system; focusing mainly on design, coding, testing, development and implementation of the data mart using MS SQL Server. Meanwhile, I developed reports related to interest rate / liquidity risk management designed to sustainably support business outcome requirements.

My first job! I managed a loan portfolio amounting to more than MYR1B spanning across real estate financing (both residential and commercial) and plantation financing. I also have to make cold-calls on potential leads to grow the bank's portfolio.
