Wazir Rohiman

I’m a Data & Analytics Engineer with 2.5 years of experience building data pipelines in Python, SQL, PySpark, and Azure. I mainly deliver analytics platforms and production-grade ingestion on Databricks and Microsoft Fabric for BI and advanced analytics use-cases.

I designed and built a metadata-driven ingestion approach on Microsoft Fabric, plus two ingestion/consolidation patterns using Python threading for intraday pipelines. I developed nightly and intraday automated pipelines using a Medallion architecture, monitored them end-to-end, and refactored and tested throughout development and deployment.

I also built an API ingestion hub deployed on Azure Function App, handling SOAP-based endpoints, token validation, parallel activity functions, and logging. On the platform side, I’ve worked with Data Platform infrastructure setup using Terraform and Azure DevOps, including CI/CD deployment to UAT and production workspaces.

Before moving fully into data engineering, I practiced as a Building Architect for 5 years—training my mindset for tight deadlines, clear documentation, and strong cross-functional collaboration. I bring that same structured approach to delivering high-quality solutions with calm problem-solving under pressure.
