Wahab Badmus

I’m a lead analyst and founder of Africa & Global Power, where I write long-form, peer-quality analytical articles on African geopolitics, great-power competition, and continental security dynamics. I also manage a free weekly analytical newsletter, Africa & Global Power Brief, to share strategic intelligence with readers across academia, policy, and civil society.

Academically, I earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and Diplomatic Studies at Tai Solarin Federal University of Education with a CGPA of 4.18/5.0 (Second Class, Upper Division; Top 5%). My dissertation—The Economic History of Dada Pottery at Ebu-Dada, Kwara State—strengthened my research discipline and ability to connect evidence to broader historical and economic questions.

In 2025, I expanded into leadership and applied research through The Visionnaires Nigeria, where I lead the research and development portfolio. I design research initiatives, oversee knowledge management frameworks, and support outreach programmes that translate insight into community development, civic education, and social impact.

I also build capability through certifications and continuous learning, including AI for Beginners, Micro AI Research, AI Prompt Engineering, and professional development in global leadership. Across my work, I combine structured geopolitical analysis with academic writing, digital research tools, and prompt-engineering skills to turn complex topics into clear, actionable analysis.
