What I'm looking for

A senior or lead product design role where the hard part is real. Complex flows, dense data, work that decides whether the product works. I want to own a surface from research to shipped numbers. Fully remote from India, async friendly. I prototype in React, so I'd rather ship with engineers than hand off.

At Dainik Bhaskar I design end to end product experiences for one of India's largest digital platforms, millions of daily users on mid range Android phones across small cities. Reading, discovery, onboarding and payments on one side, and the tools the teams run on, on the other.

The work I'm known for came out of field research in Bhopal, where we found most readers didn't know paid plans existed at all. Redesigning around that increased plan page views 24.7%, and 9.8% of those additional readers converted. I owned plan pages, payments, checkout, ₹1 introductory offers and coupons, lifting conversions 19.5% in the first quarter after launch.

I've also designed the operator side of every feature I shipped. The CMS the newsroom works in, the experiment builder the product team sets up tests from with cohorts and audience conditions, and the content tools in daily use by the editorial desk. Dense, multi step screens for people who live in them all day.

I build and test interactions in React, from discovery systems and native format feed widgets to onboarding flows that held 70% notification opt in through Android 13's permission change. And I co-built the design system the app runs on, tokens, components, theming, Devanagari and Gujarati typography.

Before Bhaskar I delivered end to end UI and UX for four remote products across e-commerce, SaaS and mobile. I also build my own tools, including Orion, a Figma plugin that generates a complete design system in one run, and I hand-coded my portfolio at voleshads.com.
