Vivek Malakapure

I developed EMoDo (Electric Motor Doctor), a machine learning predictive maintenance project aimed at solving industrial engineering bottlenecks. Using the Paderborn University dataset and GroupKFold cross-validation, I built models to predict permanent magnet synchronous motor temperatures.

At ELECTROSAPIENS 3.0, a hardware hackathon by IEEE PES Bangalore Chapter, I participated in developing an Edge AI predictive maintenance prototype for industrial motors. It integrated an ESP32 microcontroller, an MPU6050 sensor, a Hall sensor, and a 3-sigma statistical anomaly detection model.

I'm a second-year Electrical and Electronics Engineering student at Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, focused on the intersection of machine learning, embedded systems, and robotics. I’m interested in bridging hardware constraints and software intelligence.

As an IEDC DSCE member, I was active in the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre. I’m eager to collaborate on projects involving TinyML, Edge AI, microcontrollers, and robotics.
