Violet Esere

I’m a software engineer with a Certificate in Software Engineering from ALX Africa and a Bachelor’s degree in French and Business Studies. I combine Python, JavaScript, Flask, and SQL with a careful, detail-oriented approach shaped by my work in legal transcription, translation, and localization.

I build resource-focused and content-driven web applications, including HealthConnect and CuddleNest, where I delivered frontend pages, backend-connected features, and admin tools for managing content. I use SQLAlchemy and SQLite to structure data and support reliable application behavior.

I also develop websites and onboarding experiences, working with WordPress and currently building a Progressive Web App aligned to ongoing product needs. I focus on responsive layouts and clean user flows, with attention to UI/UX design and technical quality such as error handling.

Beyond coding, I’m bilingual in English and French with native Swahili proficiency, and I bring strong language skills to documentation, proofreading, subtitles, and captions. That mix helps me ship software that’s not only functional, but also clear and accessible.
