What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can ship secure Android features and measurable performance improvements—using scheduling, encryption, data migration, and profiling—within a research-driven team that values quality, reliability, and strong engineering practices.

I’m an Android Developer (Research and Development Engineer) who builds secure, high-impact features—especially around reliability, performance, and data efficiency. At Samsung Research Institute, I’ve led work across Samsung Pass and related integrations, including Autofill service integration and Activity Embedding for diverse device experiences.

I’m proud of concrete results: fixing a critical banner refresh issue with a hybrid WorkManager + AlarmManager approach, improving performance through lazy loading, pagination, and view recycling, and migrating legacy SQLite databases to Room to reduce crashes and speed up queries. I also optimize data syncing and security via bulk encryption/decryption for large active credential sets, while previously using Big Data tools to analyze transactions as a Senior Analyst.
