Vikas Varathe

I’m a Tool Designer & Supervisor with experience designing tools and parts using AUTO CAD 2D and NX, and SOLIDWORKS 3D. In my current role at Starshinemanufacturingco. Pvt.Ltd (Mumbai), I test completed tools on a variety of materials to verify performance results.

I build reliability into every project through preventive maintenance schedules for tool life, and I manage toolroom documentation by tracking tool history and working performance. I also analyze customer requirements and design new tools to meet their needs.

Previously, as TOOLROOM INCHARGE & NPD /Dilight Auto industries (Indore / Pithampur), I independently made die tools and jig fixtures. I handled all type conventional machine and manpower, and I developed parts by setting up tool and welding processes while improving the process via jig and fixture adjustment.

Earlier experience includes machine and tool maintenance supervisor & NPD at Shree sai metal pvt. Ltd (Indore / Pithampur), where I handled breakdowns and designed, fabricated, and installed upgrades to improve existing equipment. I work with CNC pipe Bending 3 Axis programming and Pressback programming, with wirecut machine work experience with design, and as a Tool and DieMaker I performed precision machining operations on lathes, mills, and grinder while fixing tooling problems and production bottlenecks.
