I’m a Tool and Die Design Engineer with 3+ years of experience in stamping die design, press tool design, and sheet metal tooling development for global automotive OEM projects.
At Tata Technologies, I’ve worked from concept and feasibility through detailed design, supporting both lead and support design roles across 9 concurrent projects. I build 3D die models and assemblies in CATIA V5 and release complete 2D manufacturing drawings with GD&T to the tool room.
I validate tooling readiness with die load/tonnage calculations, press selection, and engineering checklists, and I apply DFM/DFA to improve manufacturability—reducing downstream rework by an average of 10%. I also lead design reviews, handle engineering changes and tool modifications, and maintain BOMs, ECNs, and technical documentation while collaborating closely with manufacturing, quality, and project management.
