Vijay Kumar Dalal
@vijaykumardalal
Assistant Professor and AI Trainer blending plant biology research with LLM prompt engineering.
What I'm looking for
I am an Assistant Professor of Botany with a PhD who combines academic teaching and research with freelance work as an AI trainer and biology SME/prompt engineer. I teach and mentor students while leading applied research projects.
My research has focused on drought stress and chloroplast biogenesis in developing seedlings, demonstrating how chlorophyll biosynthesis and the photosynthetic apparatus are regulated under water stress. I used proteomics (2DE, MALDI-TOF/TOF, LC-MS/MS), TEM, IRGA, HPLC, western blotting and transcript profiling during postdoctoral and research appointments.
I manage horticulture, mushroom cultivation and polyhouse projects, and I aim to bridge plant biology with applied AI to improve biological data interpretation and LLM performance.
