At Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital, I managed inventory data across 100+ medicine lines and used Excel, VEN and ABC analysis to support needs planning across about 20 wards.
I optimised Private Wing Pharmacy order cycles using safety stock principles and demand forecasting, cutting stock-outs on about 10 vital items from months to a month at most. I also contributed to stock redistribution and produced expiry and high-cost disposal reports that quantified about UGX 5M in expiry losses.
My Pharm.D. training at Gulf Medical University and clinical rotations at Thumbay University Hospital shaped my understanding of medicines from formulary to patient. I also led pharmacovigilance data collection, analysis and regulatory reporting across TB, MDR-TB and oncology wards, and contributed to antibiotic prescribing surveys that informed hospital stewardship policy.
