I built a multi-VM SOC lab with Kali Linux, Windows Server, and Ubuntu, using the Elastic Stack to monitor simulated RDP brute-force attacks. With Filebeat and Kibana, I identified failed logins and attacker IP addresses through centralized log correlation.
At University of New Haven, I analyzed a simulated data-exfiltration incident across all seven stages of the Cyber Kill Chain. I developed a custom Snort rule and authored an incident response playbook structured around the CISA IR Playbook.
For a campus network design lab, I designed and tested a simulated campus-wide network in Cisco Packet Tracer, configuring subnets and validating connectivity between wired and wireless devices. I’ve also investigated suspicious URLs and verified file integrity using hash values.
My experience as a Police Department Intern at Seymour Police Department and a Criminal Justice Extern at New Britain Police Department gave me exposure to law enforcement technology, digital evidence handling, and technology-supported investigation workflows. I’m pursuing an M.S. in Cybersecurity & Networks at University of New Haven, expected December 2026.
