What I'm looking for

I'm looking to build on my hands-on SOC and cloud security work through threat detection, incident response, SIEM engineering, and securing AWS or Azure environments.

I've supported production SOC operations at CEROC at Tennessee Technological University, refining AI-driven NIDS/IPS detections, tuning alerts, and investigating host and network telemetry.

I build security visibility and response workflows across AWS and Azure, including GuardDuty, Security Hub, CloudTrail, OpenSearch, Microsoft Sentinel, Defender for Cloud, and Event Grid.

I've also led a four-person capstone team through refactoring an application from Java/Spring Boot to Python and containerizing components with Docker for secure, standardized deployments.
