At Alvillar Law, PC, I conduct client intake interviews and gather factual information for immigration cases, then help prepare immigration applications, petitions, and supporting legal documents. I also compile comprehensive filing packets and keep case files updated while tracking deadlines and case progress.
In St. Mary’s Center for Legal and Social Justice, I worked in the Immigration and Human Rights Clinic as a student attorney, conducting direct examination, researching immigration procedures and filing requirements, and maintaining client files. I communicated regularly with the partner, providing continuous updates to the supervising attorney.
As a remote legal intern at Justice in Motion, I researched legal and country conditions to support asylum and deportation cases. I also developed and delivered a presentation on the U.S. immigration system and summarized complex legal frameworks and human rights reports into accessible materials.
Earlier, at American Gateways, I helped prepare clients and corroborating witnesses for asylum hearings, drafted and translated affidavits from Spanish to English, and produced reports on country conditions. During my time at The Rosenblatt Law Firm, I supported potential client intake calls, organized discovery, and helped prepare attorneys for hearings, trials, and client meetings.
