What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can lead secure, high-availability Linux operations—driving automation with Ansible, strengthening CyberArk-based access controls, and advancing disaster recovery and monitoring to keep critical services running.

I’m a Principal Linux Engineer, currently supporting and managing 17,000+ Linux servers across global locations with privileged access security using CyberArk. I bring hands-on depth in KVM virtualization, server migration with minimal downtime, and disaster recovery enablement through rsync-based DC/DR synchronization. My focus is always stable, secure, and service-continuous Linux operations.

Before this role, I worked as a Linux Specialist at TCS, supporting 1600+ legacy Linux servers and solving issues end-to-end. I handled Red Hat Linux (versions 6, 7, 8, and 9), disk and file system management with LVM, and network troubleshooting. I also optimized virtual machine performance in VMware, resolved tickets with Remedy, supported VERITAS clustering, performed OS patching via Ansible playbooks, and decommissioned servers per customer requests.

Earlier, I strengthened my systems and recovery capabilities through Linux administration and scripting work, including VERITAS clustering support, server patching with local repositories, storage and multipath configuration, and file restoration via TSM backup. I’ve also worked on Axway Managed File Transfer (MFT), including routing/activity tracking and interface design for common transfer protocols. Across my 10+ years, I combine Linux administration, automation with Ansible, shell scripting, and disciplined ITIL-style problem solving with proactive disaster recovery readiness.
