What I'm looking for

I am seeking opportunities in research-focused environments that foster innovation and collaboration.

I am an undergraduate researcher at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), where I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Applied Biosciences. My thesis focuses on the VDR gene variants and their association with HIV progression, where I have utilized advanced bioinformatics tools and laboratory techniques to investigate the diagnostic potential of specific genetic variants.

Throughout my academic journey, I have gained hands-on experience in various diagnostic tests and laboratory procedures during my internship at ASAB Diagnostic Lab. I have developed a strong foundation in molecular biology techniques, including DNA extraction, PCR, and gel electrophoresis, which I applied to analyze genetic samples from HIV-positive patients.

In addition to my academic and research pursuits, I am actively involved in community service and have volunteered for various initiatives at NUST. My experience in managing social media campaigns and organizing events has honed my communication and organizational skills, making me a well-rounded candidate ready to contribute to impactful research and healthcare solutions.
