In my self-directed engineering work, I develop backend applications with Java and Spring Boot, using layered architecture and REST APIs.
I implemented authentication and authorization with Spring Security, JWT, and OAuth 2.0, including role-based access control and exception handling.
On my Journal App project, I built a secure journal backend with username/password and Google OAuth 2.0 login. I modeled separate MongoDB collections for users and journal entries.
I also integrated WeatherStack with Redis caching and built a Kafka-based asynchronous email service. I validated and documented APIs using Swagger, JUnit, and Mockito.
