Usman Bakare

I am an enthusiastic Machine Learning engineer with over a year of experience in Python programming and a solid understanding of machine learning processes. My academic background in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Lagos has equipped me with analytical skills that I apply to data preprocessing, regression, clustering, and classification tasks.

During my time with the Google Developer Student Clubs, I participated in the ML Study Jam and worked on various projects, including the Housing Price Competition on Kaggle. Here, I successfully carried out feature engineering and data preprocessing, utilizing models such as XGBoost and Random Forest to predict housing prices. Additionally, I developed a Breast Cancer Prediction model using logistic regression, where I conducted thorough model evaluations using k-Fold and Confusion Matrix techniques.
