At IDEAS – Institute of Data Engineering, Analytics, and Science Foundation (Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata), I studied factors influencing buyers’ decisions on laptop purchases. I used statistical and econometric techniques to identify significant variables affecting buyer preferences.
My postgraduate studies in Applied Economics at Presidency University, Kolkata covered econometric methods, data analysis, machine learning, time series modelling, and financial economics.
In a workshop on machine learning applications in financial economics, I worked on credit default detection modelling and explored VaR and the Markowitz portfolio framework using Excel. I also have experience with R, SQL, and basic Python.
