In my current role as a VOB Specialist / AR Specialist, I manage end-to-end AR and VOB for high-volume Mental Health practices. I verify eligibility, benefits, copays/deductibles, prior authorizations, referrals, and coverage for therapy, psychiatry, telehealth, and behavioral health—before billing to prevent avoidable denials.

I resolve denied and aging claims using detailed root-cause analysis, appeal submissions, and claim corrections, while prioritizing aging reports to reduce AR backlog. I also negotiate directly with US-based insurance payers to reprocess claims and accelerate reimbursement pipelines, staying fully compliant with HIPAA/HITECH data privacy standards.
