Umaira Sarifahamed

I’m an educator who delivers activity-based, student-focused learning in ways that strengthen critical thinking and holistic development. I bring a design-and-analysis mindset from my architecture background and pair it with practical digital tools to make lessons engaging and meaningful.

At Harvard International School, I delivered activity-based lessons using digital tools to boost engagement and classroom thinking. I also trained teachers in teaching methodologies and classroom management, and I handled school social media profiles, earning recognition as an Innovator in Teaching.

Previously at Achariya Siksha Mandir, I taught Social Science with an experiential, real-world focus. I designed lesson plans and assessments, mentored students, and managed school social media profiles—helping learners connect concepts to everyday experiences.

Alongside teaching, I’ve worked as an Architect (M R Architects & Consultancy; A K Shelters), which sharpened my creativity, structure, and problem-solving. I’ve completed an Executive Certificate Program in Digital Marketing (Certified by Illinois Tech, NSDC, Entri Elevate) and I’m excited to keep integrating education technology and digital strategy into my teaching practice.
