What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a Clinical Research Coordinator/Research Assistant role supporting ethical participant work and rigorous data analysis (MATLAB/SPSS). I want to contribute to high-quality studies, collaborate with research teams, and grow in clinical neuroscience and research coordination.

I’m an MSc Applied Neuroscience candidate (University of Dundee) with First Division honours-equivalent performance in Applied Psychology. I bring NIHR Good Clinical Practice (GCP) certification and direct experience collecting and analysing clinical EEG data from thalamotomy patients.

My work is grounded in rigorous, hands-on preprocessing: I applied a full MATLAB EEG pipeline (filtering, epoch rejection, artefact removal) to produce analysis-ready datasets for pre-/post-operative comparison during a probabilistic bandit task. I also synthesise evidence into structured literature reviews to strengthen study design and clinical interpretation.

I’ve led psychometric scale development across 190 participants, using exploratory factor analysis and Cronbach’s alpha reliability testing in SPSS, and my research received a Best Paper Award at an international conference. I’m also a co-author on a meta-analysis submitted to Future Healthcare Journal (Elsevier) on self-efficacy and Type II diabetes outcomes.

Across two independent IRB-approved studies, I handle participant-facing responsibilities with care—scheduling, informed consent, and data storage in line with ethics standards. I’m now seeking a Research Assistant or Clinical Research Coordinator role where I can combine quantitative research execution with ethical clinical research coordination.
