Casey Lindsay

I’m a dynamic neuroscience graduate committed to translating research excellence into impactful patient care. I bring proven expertise in cognitive and health psychology, advanced neuroimaging, and data-driven analysis, with the ability to synthesise complex ideas for diverse audiences. I’m especially motivated to develop specialist skills in respiratory and sleep physiology to drive service innovation and deliver outstanding patient outcomes within the NHS.

At the University of Glasgow, I achieved a Distinction in my MSc, with a thesis focused on associative memory directionality and neural mechanisms (Supervisor: Dr Maria Wimber). Through my work, I developed advanced capability in brain-behaviour analysis, neuroimaging methods, and experimental design.

Across selected projects, I applied advanced statistical modelling using GLMMs and Bayesian analysis, and built clear data visualisations in RStudio. As a Research Assistant at the University of Stirling, I led literature reviews and data collection across PhD, MSc, and undergraduate studies, managed research documentation and data integrity, and supported ethical, participant-facing research protocols. I also bring patient-centred communication from volunteering with Action in Mind, where I led structured group sessions and provided emotional support and crisis intervention.
